The Chautauqua County Society of Artists is a dynamic group of artists bound together by the belief that the relationship between people, art, and environment express the vitality of a community and its culture. The group is dedicated to increasing community appreciation for the visual arts, continued improvement of individual artistic expression, and offering fellowship with people of similar interests.
Who can join?
The society is open to professional and amateur artists using any media to express their individual creativity.
When does the group meet?
The society meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6pm in the Community Building on the grounds of the Lucille Ball Memorial Park in Celoron, NY. The building is on the corner of Dunham & Boulevard in Celoron. The society does not meet the months of January & February or July.
Upcoming Events
June Meeting
The June Meeting will be held on June 11th at the Celoron Community Building. Kim Mason will be showing the group the art of sporting bow making. Please remember to bring along the artists books that have been in trading as well as your completed registration form for Art in the Park.
